Challange

Learning Links needed their annual report to do more than document a year's work — it's a funding tool as much as a communications piece.

58 pages of dense educational data, community outcomes and financial reporting, all carrying different weight for different audiences. The risk was a document that satisfied compliance but lost the human story that actually moves donors and board members to act.

Goal

Build a report that holds up in the board room and the funding room, without losing the human story.

A narrative structure that moves between data and story deliberately — so different audiences can find what they need, and feel something when they do.

Solution

Working in partnership with Origami Graphics, the information hierarchy was set at the brief stage, not the layout stage.

The result is a narrative structure that moves between data and story deliberately — beautiful layouts maintaining strict brand guidelines, with custom data visualisations and pull-out statistics landing where they need to rather than where they fit. Built for accessibility. Delivers professionally and aesthetically.
