Challange

Sax Cafe & Lounge had brand character. The menu system didn't — and it was creating real operational problems.

Every price change, every seasonal update meant a production job that pulled time away from running the venue. The existing files weren't built for anyone but the original designer to touch. On top of that, the printed collateral — coasters, business cards — wasn't cohesive enough to hold the venue's identity across every touchpoint.

Goal

Redesign the menu system so the venue could own it — and make every piece feel like it belonged to the same room.

A menu suite the team could update in-house, designed to work across both ends of the day: editorial and warm in the morning, atmospheric and confident by cocktail hour.

Solution

We rebuilt the full menu suite from scratch across breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks and specials — each as a clean InDesign template.

Once the menu system was in, they came back for coasters and business cards. Same logic throughout: every piece needed to feel like it belonged to the same room.
